Austin’s Wilderness Lodge is a Canadian, family-run fishing lodge with a long history on the beautiful Pashkokogan Lake. Built in 1953 by Howard Austin, our lodge has been welcoming anglers for generations - many of whom return year after year for the incredible fishing and the quiet, unspoiled beauty of the area.
Pashkokogan Lake spans over 13,600 acres with 131 miles of pristine shoreline. As the only lodge on the lake and surrounded entirely by crown land, we offer a true wilderness fishing experience with very little competition on the water. The result? Outstanding Walleye and Northern Pike fishing in a setting that feels remote, peaceful, and personal.
We’re proud to carry on the Austin family tradition of sharing this special place with others. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, you can expect the same warm welcome, comfortable accommodations, and unforgettable days on the water.

This is a wonderful family-owned resort and fishing camp. The owners are extremely gracious and friendly especially taking care to make sure that young children have a great time. The lake is a great place to fish many opportunities to catch both northern and walleye. Very nice camp with updated and modern accommodations. Grounds well kept and overall just a great experience.
Stayed at a different place for the past ~25 years until they went to new ownership. This was my first year at Austin's, which is also under new management with Mike and Tammy. It will absolutely not be my last time with Austin's. Mike and Tammy are top notch, especially with service. They're always available to help and do anything to make your stay better. The fishing on the lake is excellent so we only went to one other lake off property as we didn't need to. Cannot recommend this place enough, Mike and Tammy have made improvements already and you can tell they have more in store.
Great place to stay on beautiful Pashkokogan Lake. Owner is super nice and couldn't be more friendly. Fishing couldn't have been better. Caught a lot of walleye and some really big northern pike. If you are looking for a place to catch some fish in Canada don't pass this one up.
What a terric week of fishing. The owners are super nice and always willing to assist. They treat us like family. We wouldn't go anywhere else, and we are already looking forward to our August trip.
We just spent the best week at Austin’s Wilderness Lodge. The owners are fantastic and helpful. If you want to catch tons of fish, look no further.
My family and I have been going up there for years. It's an amazing drive and experience
