About Us

Austin’s Wilderness Lodge is a Canadian, family-run fishing lodge with a long history on the beautiful Pashkokogan Lake. Built in 1953 by Howard Austin, our lodge has been welcoming anglers for generations - many of whom return year after year for the incredible fishing and the quiet, unspoiled beauty of the area.

Pashkokogan Lake spans over 13,600 acres with 131 miles of pristine shoreline. As the only lodge on the lake and surrounded entirely by crown land, we offer a true wilderness fishing experience with very little competition on the water. The result? Outstanding Walleye and Northern Pike fishing in a setting that feels remote, peaceful, and personal.

We’re proud to carry on the Austin family tradition of sharing this special place with others. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, you can expect the same warm welcome, comfortable accommodations, and unforgettable days on the water.
